Everyone associates good with bright light, don’t they? Medicine is definitely good – it helps many a person to get back on their feet. This is why this NYM, New York Medicine, building is so reflective – it will reflect the bright light around it, shining it forth. It is also a definite attention grabber, amongst a sea of gray and brown hi-rises. It is clean – anything connecting to medicine needs to be clean, unstained by bad smell, garbage or disease.

This is an office building, however, and it cannot be too outstanding – in order to hold a big number of employees, it still needs to conform to some standards. Nonetheless, I have added more curvature to the architectural piece, making it a more gentle, less jagged and edgy structure. It also has a neat feature – an emergency helicopter landing pad, something a Hospital would have. This brings the building back to its roots – curing others, especially if these others are in great distress. An emergency landing pad means an emergency room. This building can double as an emergency hospital, or even an education facility, where students can observe how surgeons handle their tasks.

Overall, the NYM Headquarters would definitely become one of the most influential building in that sector of Manhattan , for its simple and attractive design, as well as the multitude of purposes it could be used for.
